Category:Utilities for Windows Ask HN: Which DB to use for agile team? - mwhite I'm a web developer, and am working on a team of 4 developers that will be focusing on a startup idea. So far we've been using MySQL, and are starting to make some tests on NoSQL, and I'm wondering which one would be the best for us (we're not an enterprise company). Some info about the project:-We will have 3 web servers and 1-2 desktop applications, but mainly 3 web servers. All web servers will be under 1 application, in the same database.-We will also have a web backend where we can create a mobile version of the website and store pictures, files, etc, but at the moment the web backend is the same application as the web server. (This is because we're about to change that in order to have a mobile backend)-There will be a team of 4 people working on this project, so the software development process is going to be pretty agile. This is the first project of this kind that we've done, and it's not a very big one, so we're trying to get it working as soon as possible. ====== basil I have to say that it's not that big of a deal which database you use. I wouldn't worry about it too much if it were me. I have a much larger team of developers (about 70) working on a slightly more complex application at the moment and use MySQL for that. I do use NoSQL for individual tables, but I would be a bit careful about naming the various tables based on what the data really is. For example, our users have a history, and I would use a key like {user_id, time_stamp}. If you do go with NoSQL, I would recommend MongoDB, which is really nice and easy to use. It's supported by aslso by the fine folks at MongoDB. Finally, if you have two separate databases, I would recommend that you run a background process that keeps track of the total user count of each table. It wouldn't cost that much and is a pretty common thing to do. You should be fine. ------ PaulHoule Don't get distracted by the number of rows of data that you are storing. When you are a startup your system is a simple 1a423ce670 Nvidia RGB Full Limited Range Toggler Crack+ Download What's New in the?
